Premium Spirits Branding - LOBO Cider & Spirits, Adelaide Hills, South Australia.
LOBO had built genuine craft credibility in cider, a loyal following, distinctive visual identity, and a deep provenance story. What it didn't have was permission to play in ultra-premium spirits.
Introducing an apple brandy at over $100 per bottle meant earning trust in a category the brand had never touched, without weakening the equity already built with an existing audience.
PROBLEM
The Brief: Enter Spirits with Credibility and Without Weakening the Existing Brand.
DECISION
Extend the Brand System, Not Replace It.
No logo redesign. No generic luxury cues. Instead, extended the existing brand system with intent. A new wolf character, created by illustrator Mar Hernández, embodied the spirit's character of patience, craftsmanship, pursuit. Unmistakably LOBO. Elevated.
