The problem wasn't the winemaking, competitors using the same fruit and producing comparable wine were successfully commanding higher retail prices. The gap wasn't in the glass. It was on the shelf.
The brief was to bring the packaging in line with the quality of the wine and give the business the confidence to price accordingly.
No complete overhaul. The logo and label shape were already strong. Instead, we refined what mattered - label size, placement, quality signals, closure choice - to close the gap between what was in the bottle and how it was perceived from the outside.
The result was immediate and measurable. Hutton Vale increased their RRP by 36% per bottle. Sales held steady. The bottom line improved by 30%.
